One of Mie Prefecture's greatest Phenomenons, The Ise St.Patrick's Day Parade. In 2007, along with the Irish Ambassador and the Ise City Mayor we had 500 participants marching through the streets of Ise. 2008 was another great year.

Starting at the fabulous Ise Shrine, Geku, we march along our traditional route , singing, dancing, enjoying ourselves along the way (Bagpipes, fiddles and wild dancing included. ) After we have screamed though Ise, we finish with OYSTERs, and more dancing. Time for a breather, then in the evening (6->9pm) there will be a party across the road from Ujiyamada Station, where there will be Draught Guinness, Green Beer, Snacks, Games, Music, more Dancing and of course the Craic!

For those still standing, there is the option to move to Mie's best nightclub at a good discount. 50 of us made it there last year.

If you cant wait until the big day, you can always grab a pint of the best Guinness shipped from Dublin in Ise's very own Irish Bar, behind Ujiyamada Station. Particularly they have "Irish Day" on the third Saturday of the month. This hosts a performance of Ise's Irish folk music group.
